We are passionate about making bridal fashion sustainable and ethical and will always share our journey with you. For us, it’s more than just a dress which is why we put so much emphasis on the experience we offer you and finding purpose in everything we do.
Our rural Buckinghamshire barn boutique
Set in the heart of a conservation area our rural Buckinghamshire boutique has been restored to a high standard. Located on the Swanbourne estate they have a wide ranging preservation and conservation programme with replanted traditional wildflower meadows, orchards and woodlands a key feature of the estate. Their grain store collects solar energy and our barn boutique has a “green” air sourced heat pump while it also provides a safe habitat to the local wildlife.
Choosing ethical, and sustainable designers with purpose
We choose each designer for the boutique based on their style but also their brand values and ethics. We love working with indie designers with a focus on British based, female lead businesses. All of our designers are unique, not only for their style but also in how they choose to work. Whether it’s making their wedding dresses in the UK, sourcing high quality, sustainable materials or giving back to their local communities. Forming partnerships with purpose is at the heart of what we do.
Our principles
We always work with local suppliers where possible, the treats we gift our brides when they say yes to the dress are sourced from small, local, independent businesses and packaged in recycled and recyclable boxes. We recycle as much as we can while minimising waste. We will ensure that all future stationary and paper products used within the boutique are made from certified responsibly sourced paper.
Our goal is to build lasting relationships with suppliers and seek to collaborate with businesses that operate with purpose.
We are not perfect but we will continue to build on our existing policies with a commitment to learn how to be more sustainable and will implement better ways of working quickly.
